The rear-wheel-drive Cadillac CTS four-door sedan will be sold in Australia, the first Cadillac on the Australian market since 1969, by GM Holden, the automaker's Australian unit, starting at the end of next year.
The Australian Cadillac CTS will be powered by GM's 3.6-liter VVT direct-injection Global V6 engine, generating 304 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Australian CTS will be a choice of two suspension packages, along with GM's Stabilitrak system. A 2.9-liter turbodiesel will be optional.
Official pricing has not been released, but we guess to be between U.S. $61,000 to $70,000.
